That silent night with the Holy Family was the night of the Love incarnate, of the Love Child, of the Love newborn, of the baby Love who is crying in the silence of the humble cave, of that Love who carried on his shoulders the faults of all Humanity, my faults, your faults.

The smaller he makes himself, the more I love Him…the more powerfully he engages my love.

The more he humbles himself on my account, the greater he shows himself in kindness.

Realize how much God cares for you.

Learn from this what God thinks of you. Do not ask about your own sufferings; but about what he suffered. Learn from what he was made for you, how much he makes of you.

Realize how much you owe Him.
